- as _Dubio_ opens with its title track, I am taken into the mountains.
on an alpine tundra, following a hiking trail, surrounded by rocks larger than my mind can comprehend.

    - it's a mostly clear day with few clouds drifting across the sky, sometimes obscuring the sun, creating dramatic shadows on the slopes.

    - a warm wind blows across your face, creating what looks like waves on an ocean of grass blades across the steep, rocky meadows.

    - when you walk through the mountains, there's sometimes a strange feeling of all the landscape in the distance feeling like a painted-on wall.
    but it's not a wall, you can actually just go there.

    - it's a contemplative mood, filling you with thought.
    you ponder on the meaning of life, on goals... where all of it's going, how you're a lost soul, looking for a reason to exist.

the feeling of walking through the city on a Saturday evening.

    - warm sodium lanterns give the cobblestone streets a glow that makes you feel at home.

    taking in the fun of the weekend.

    - it's a mood I've heard before in other tracks, but _Apeface_ is strangely hopeful compared to the others.

        - yet it somewhat reminds me of more painful times, when I was struggling with loneliness...
        but it's more like a happy resolution of those times, rather than a lament to how terrifying it is to be alone.

        - I don't feel saddened by being alone in a city.
        I feel happy being able to spend time with my girlfriend.

        being consumed by fear that it will not work out.

    maybe I'll update this post in the future, with interpretations of some more tracks.

        - in particular I somewhat regret I don't have an interpretation for _Peepuntpopkema_, as well as Secede's remix of it.
        those may just be my favourite tracks of the bunch.
