This issue tracks implementation of things that are needed to make rakugaki competitive in the image editor space. It will probably never be closed, because there's always space to innovate here.

Current benchmark: #122 Make it possible to write a selection tool

Issues:

  • #22 Undo and redo
  • #21 Version history (more far-reaching than undo/redo)
  • #31 Blend modes (for eraser and other good and fancy things)
  • #42 Menu bar (we need to have a 'File' menu somewhere)
  • #64 Own brush reticle (so that you can see where you're drawing)
  • #79 Pixel grid
  • #115 Custom wall backgrounds
  • #116 Image export
